Agri-Food Pilot Program

The aim of this program is to increase the agri-food sector with full-time, non-seasonal, foreign professionals to fill growing labour gaps. The benefit of this pilot is to attract and retain workers by providing them an opportunity to become permanent residents following an initial two-year period on a temporary work permit, instead of having to renew their work permits repeatedly.
