Refuge

Someone who is unable or unwilling to return to their country of origin due to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion is defined as a refugee. They differentiate from other immigrants because they are forced to flee their country. Therefore, refugees are required to apply under a different category.
